Materials:
  • RED HEART “Holiday”: 2 Balls 140 White/Silver
  • Crochet Hook: 6mm [US J-10]
  • Yarn needle
Instructions:
SCARF
Ch 203.
  1. Row 1: Sc in third ch from hook and each ch across – 201 sc.
     
  2. Row 2: First Fan – Ch 3, turn, skip next 2 sc, sc in next sc, turn, ch 3 (counts as dc), work 6 dc in ch-3 space, slip st in first chain of foundation ch, ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, ch 3, [sc in next dc, ch 3] across 6 dc of Fan, sc in top of beginning ch-3, ch 1, slip st in next sc – 6 ch-3 spaces; First Fan made, *work sc in next 6 sc.
     
  3. Second Fan – ch 3, skip next 2 sc, sc in next sc, turn, ch 3 (counts as dc), work 6 dc in ch-3 space, slip st in last sc worked, ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, ch 3, [sc in next dc, ch 3] across 6 dc of Fan, sc in top of beginning ch-3, ch 1, slip st in next sc; repeat from * across row to last st, slip st in last st – 22 Fans across row.
     
  4. Row 3: Turn to work along opposite edge of foundation ch, sc in first ch.
     
  5. First Fan – ch 3, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, turn, ch 3 (counts as dc), work 6 dc in ch-3 space, slip st in first chain of foundation ch, ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, ch 3, [sc in next dc, ch 3] across 6 dc of Fan, sc in top of beginning ch-3, ch 1, slip st in next ch – 6 ch-3 spaces; First Fan made, *work sc in next 6 ch.
     
  6. Second Fan – ch 3, skip next 2 ch, sc in next ch, turn, ch 3 (counts as dc), work 6 dc in ch-3 space, slip st in last sc worked, ch 1, turn, sc in first
    dc, ch 3, [sc in next dc, ch 3] across 6 dc of Fan, sc in top of beginning ch-3, ch 1, slip st in next ch; repeat from * across row to last st, slip st in first st along opposite side to join – 22 Fans along opposite edge of ch; 44 Fans total.
     
  7. Picot Round: Beginning in First Fan of Row 2, *[ch 3, sc in first ch-3 space of Fan, (ch 5, slip st in 3rd ch from hook – first picot made, [ch 3, slip st in 3rd ch from hook] twice, slip st in same ch of first picot, ch 2 – trident picot made), sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in next ch-3 space, work trident picot, sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in next ch-3 space, work trident picot, sc in last ch-3 space of Fan, ch 3, sc in next sc, ch 3, skip next 2 sc, sc in next sc] across to last Fan, ch 3, sc in first ch-3 space of Fan, work trident picot, sc
