- Mug
- Empty juice carton
- Optional: Flowers, leaves or other decorative ornaments (wire butterflies, birds, etc.)
Directions
- Fill containers with dirt and grass seed.
- After 3 weeks, the grass should be tall enough to use as-is or to cut down with scissors.
- Add flowers or leaves, as many or as few as you like:
- Make holes in dirt with a pencil or knitting needle.
- Plant flower stems.
- Water your arrangement. Allow a few days for flowers to take hold.

Tips
- If you don't have time to grow your own grass:
- Cat grass is a good substitute and can be purchased from your florist or at garden stores.
- Sprout lentils, mung beans or other legumes.
- If your bouquets are destined for the tabletop, cut down grass as low as possible so they don't get in the way of your guests!
