Handy Basket
Handy Blocking
The brand new UK magazine, Inside Crochet, includes the pattern for this Handy Basket (tapestry crocheted with Size 18 La Espiga Omega Nylon). Why does it look so lumpy? Well, just about everything I tapestry crochet looks like that – until the last step of the process, “blocking”.

How To Make a Japanese Money Envelope
This Japanese money envelope is also known as kinpu. Often money is given for special occasions and presented in one of these beautiful folded envelopes. These envelopes come in many styles, some more elaborate than others. For this tutorial, I thought I would share a very basic style with you.Pom pom maker
This is a tutorial for making pom-poms using your
fingers. This one is a small, two-finger pom-pom
(about 1" in diameter) but you can make bigger ones
by using more fingers. As far as yarn choice, thinner
and softer yarn will make a more pleasing pom-pom.

I've got to say, it has to be one of the best things I've ever won. It's by Decole and it's crafty, what's not to love? So like a child with a new toy, I instantly started playing with it. I decided to test it out on some security envelopes I salvaged. Below are a couple pictures of the results.
